"A Grand Day Out"

What Connects Us is a project seeking to create an interactive and educational encounter, promoting environmental awareness and shared music-making. "A Grand Day Out" is the result of this project. It is a new and collaborative performance opportunity for horn/tuba/piano trio, narrator, and audience. Composed and written by Robert Litton, the work was premiered on November 15, 2022 at P.S. DuPont Middle School in Wilmington, DE and featured Eastern Standard (Heidi Lucas, horn, Zach Collins, tuba, Jacob Ertl, piano), students of Mrs. Katelynn Bedell's orchestra program, and other P.S. DuPont community members. This project was made possible through the support of the Jessie Ball duPont Fund and the University of Delaware Partnership for Arts and Culture.
